Former Liberia international George Weah is impressed with the performances of AC Milan’s Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng at the San Siro.
The 2010 World Cup star, according to Weah, has justified his move to the Italian Serie A side. Boateng is on loan from Genoa and returned from injury to score against Napoli on Monday.
“I am happy for him. And as an Analyst during the World Cup I said that Prince Boateng is one of the best Ghanaian players,” the 1995 World Best Player told Accra-based Citi FM.
“And his attributes are what got him into AC Milan. I watched his first and second games and I think he is a very hardworking player and is very good for AC Milan. And the work that he puts in for AC Milan is great. I hope he continues to shine the flag of Africa.”
The Rossoneri are likely to grant the 23-year-old a permanent contract in the summer.
