Ekramy To Leave Ankaragücü For Bundesliga

Sherif Ekramy, the Egyptian shot stopper, has decided to terminate his loan deal with Turkish outfit Ankaragücü. The goalkeeper noted that he might return to his former club Feyenoord, or head for the German Bundesliga.

Ekramy rubbished all speculation that linked him with an Al-Ahly return, adding that he will continue his career in Europe.

The Egyptian has told FilGoal.Com that he was happyto have had his contract terminated. “Ankara has terminated the contract with me after they avoided their obligations towards me and my club. I am happy they did that!”

Ekramy pointed out that he won’t play anymore for the Turkish side, after the mistreatment he was dealt from the club officials and technical staff.

The Egyptian goalie then added that he is keen to continue his career in Europe, preferably the German League.

He then dismissed talks that linked him with a return to his former club Al-Ahly.

“When I say that I prefer to stay in Europe, people accuse me of false misconceptions about my relationship with Al-Ahly. That’s why I refuse to open the topic,” concluded Sherif Ekramy.

Ekramy, 25 years old, had signed a loan contract with Turkish sides Ankaragucu before terminating the contract.
