The talented youngster signed for Dutch giants PSV from VVV last summer and is quickly developing into one of Holland's best wingers. Nevertheless, Amrabat has doubts if he'll ever make it to the senior Netherlands side.
Amrabat is born in The Netherlands, but of Moroccan descent. He chose to represent The Netherlands when Holland under-21 boss Foppe de Haan called upon him last year and he has already been capped several times at this level.
"I can't play for Morocco anymore now," stated Amrabat to Algemeen Dagblad. "That's a shame because I have a good feeling about Morocco, too."
"However, I wasn't sure about it when I chose to represent Holland. I was still very young and it would have been better to think about it a little bit longer before making such an important decision."
"I would play for Morocco if I had to make a decision right now. There's a lot of competition in Oranje. Ibrahim Afellay isn't even a member of the starting XI, so that isn't very promising for a player like me," continued the tricky winger.
"Therefore, Morocco would have been a better option for me. Nevertheless, I picked Oranje and that's just the way it is. I'll do my utmost to convince the Holland manager of my qualities and we'll see what happens," ended the hot prospect.
