Former Poland International Jerzy Wozniak Dies Aged 78

Wozniak has passed away at the age of 78...
Former Poland international Jerzy Wozniak passed away on Sunday at the age of 78, the Polish football association have announced.

Wozniak commenced his career in 1947 and joined Legia Warsaw in 1954. He played for them for over 13 seasons and won the championship in 1955 and 1956 and the Polish Cup in 1955, 1956 and 1966.

Wozniak made his debut for the Poland national team in 1955 and played for them until 1962, making 35 appearances.
