Kaiserslautern forward Adam Nemec has been ruled out for at least three months after he fell out of a cherry tree at his home.
The 25-year-old sustained a broken collarbone, two fractured vertebrae and a concussion from the mishap.
The Bundesliga outfit released a statement on their official website that read: "The hospital performed surgery on his broken collarbone. According to the doctors, if his recovery is without any setbacks then he can return to team training in about three months."
The hitman scored three goals in 24 appearances last season for Kaiserslautern.
