Newly appointed Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath was disappointed that his side failed to get the full three points against Stuttgart on Sunday as the Woelfe had to settle for a 1-1 draw after a late equaliser.
"Generally speaking, the point in itself is not a bad result, but based on the way the game went and considering the number of counter-attacks that we had, we should have left the field of play as winners," said Magath on the official Wolfsburg website.
Magath added that the Woelfe simply didn't do enough to secure the full three points and that he'll now focus on getting the team into better condition.
"In the end we were punished because we didn’t invest enough in the game. It’s my job now to get the team into better condition.
"Aside from that, we need another consciousness. It would appear that some people haven’t registered that we are in a relegation place. We have a lot of work to do to get out of there. There is a lot of endurance work to be done in the coming days."
