Bayer Leverkusen have parted ways with Turkey U-21 international Burak Kaplan, at least for the short term, the club has revealed on its official website. The attacking midfielder, who is under contract with die Werkself until 2012, has signed a six-month loan deal with 2. Bundesliga club Greuther Fuerth.
"Burak Kaplan is a highly gifted player whose further development requires more match practice," Leverkusen sporting director said. "Greuther Fuerth can offer this to him."
Kaplan is considered a promising talent, and made his debut for Leverkusen in 2009. He has appeared four times in the Bundesliga, scoring twice. Due to the summer arrival of Sidney Sam, however, he has since found playing time in short supply.
