Ambitious Bundesliga side Wolfsburg take on German title holders Bayern Munich on Saturday and head coach Steve McClaren has made it clear that the Woelfe have nothing to lose against the Bavarians.
"We’ve all had a break and are now ready to go for it. No two halves in football are ever the same, so we have the chance to do things better following the disappointment of the first half of the season," said McClaren on the club's official website.
"Our task is to win the next game and the fact that we have nothing to lose against Bayern is an advantage for us. We need the right attitude, freshness and the strong support of our fans. We’re well prepared and raring to go.
"The pressure on Bayern Munich is greater. They have the target of winning the league title and right now they have a 14-point deficit to make up. They really can’t afford another slip if they want to have a chance of winning the championship."
