Bayern Munich Rule Out Move For Chelsea's Jose Bosingwa

Bayern Munich have decided against swooping for Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa in January due to his recent injury problems.
Bayern Munich sporting director Christian Nerlinger has revealed that the struggling champions will look to make reinforcements during the January transfer window but it appears that Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa will not be among them.

"We are considering bringing in at least one player, maybe others, in order to freshen up the team," Nerlinger told Kicker.

However, the magazine has also learned that Nerlinger has decided against a move for Bosingwa because the former midfielder believes that after so many injury problems, it will take too long for the 28-year-old to return to top form. With Bayern in need of immediate improvement, the club feel it is not worth paying a transfer fee of around €9 million.

Die Roten are currently a staggering seventeen points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund but have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
