Werder Bremen have allegedly held an emergency meeting in an attempt to solve the struggling team's problems. According to Spox, general manager Klaus Allofs took coach Thomas Schaaf to task for no less than an hour earlier today.
The alleged meeting comes after Bremen lost 4-1 to Hannover, leaving the Hanseaten with just four points from five matches.
"With all due respect to our opponents, in Hannover, we must not lose - especially not in this way," Allofs is quoted to have said.
Reports of the meeting come just hours after captain Torsten Frings called for action in an interview with Kicker.
"We're not really working as a team," the veteran said. "We urgently need to talk. We aren't showing spirit."
Bremen's next challenge comes on Saturday as the northern side square off against Hamburg.
