Hamburg midfielder Romeo Castelen has sustained yet another knee injury that will require surgery.
The Dutch winger took a knock to his right knee during training, and is set to go under the knife. Knee injuries have limited the 27-year-old to just 15 games in his three years at Hamburg.
"I really do not know yet where I will find the strength for yet another comeback," the player told Hamburg's official website. "You just cannot have more bad luck."
Last October, Castelen had a knee operation that saw him miss the rest of the season. He was finally approaching fitness once more, but will now have to put his comeback on hold.
