Borussia Dortmund's Paraguayan international Nelson Haedo Valdez has attracted the interest of Eredivisie powerhouse PSV with his good performances at the 2010 World Cup, according to a report in Bild.
The Dutch giants are in the market for attacking reinforcements following the departure of Serbian international Danko Lazovic to Zenit St. Petersburg earlier this year and they've supposedly made Valdez one of their primary transfer targets.
The 26-year-old forward joined Borussia from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2006 and has since made over 100 Bundesliga appearances for BVB. However, Valdez appears to be surplus to requirements following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski and could therefore be on his way out.
Valdez's current contract runs until the summer of 2012, but Dortmund are keen to cash in on the attacker this summer. They've reportedly set a €5 million asking price for Valdez following his good performances in South Africa.
