Eredivisie champions Twente are considering making a move for Colombian international Adrian Ramos, currently under contract with 2. Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, according to a report in Bild.
The Dutch champions are in the market for a new striker due to the departure of Blaise N'Kufo to Seattle Sounders and new head coach Michel Preud'homme supposedly sees Ramos as the perfect replacement.
The 24-year-old attacker joined Hertha from America de Cali in the summer of 2009 and scored 10 goals in his first season with the Alte Dame. Ramos is eager to move to a bigger club after Hertha's relegation and is believed to be very interested in joining Twente.
It remains to be seen though whether the Tukkers are ready to meet Hertha's €8 million asking price for Ramos. Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim are also believed to be keeping tabs on the Colombian attacker.
