New Wolfsburg signing Mateusz Klich has stated that he is eager to seize the opportunity of moving to a bigger club, and in no way feels inferior to his new team-mates.
The Poland international midfielder joined the German outfit for €1.5 million from Cracovia after passing a medical on Tuesday, and is looking forward to starting pre-season with Felix Magath's side.
"I [am] extremely happy that I signed a contract with VfL," the 20-year-old said, according to sport.pl.
"I do not feel weaker than the colleagues of my new club, with whom I meet for the first time on June 24. I believe that I [can] manage the challenge, in a strong German league.
"I want to seize the opportunity and not follow in the footsteps of some players who wasted their first trip to the west," he continued.
The Tarnow-born man made his debut for his country in their 2-1 international friendly victory over Argentina earlier in June, and has played at senior level for two seasons with his old club.
