Bayern Munich honorary president Franz Beckenbauer has hit out at wantaway defender Martin Demichelis.
"He has very often contributed to things not going too well for us in the past," the former sweeper told Sky television. "My word, there have been plenty of errors from him in recent years."
"He is an excellent player, but he just wants to play in the centre of the defence because then he does not have to do much running."
Demichelis refused to sit on the bench during last week's 2-1 victory over Wolfsburg, and has since fallen out with coach Louis van Gaal.
The 29-year old has been omitted from his club's squad to play Kaiserslautern later tonight, and appears likely to move to either Chelsea, Atletico Madrid or Sevilla within the next few days.
