According to a report in German newspaper Bild, Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring the situation of Bulgarian forward Dimitar Rangelov.
The striker is keen to leave his current team, Energie Cottbus, and BVB are reportedly ready to make a move for the 26-year-old attacker. The report suggests that Cottbus have set a €1.2 million asking price for their star player.
Rangelov joined Cottbus from Racing Strasbourg in 2007 and quickly developed into an important first team player at his new team. He has made 49 league appearances for them, scoring 15 goals.
Dortmund are in the market for a new striker due to the ongoing uncertainty about the future of Nelson Valdez. The attacker is continually being linked with Stuttgart and could leave Dortmund this summer.
