Borussia Dortmund playmaker Mario Gotze has signed a lucrative marketing deal with Nike, Bild reports.
The deal with the United States-based sports equipment supplier is reportedly worth €15 million over the next decade, which means Gotze will receive €1.5m per year until 2022.
Gotze is widely regarded as one of Europe's most promising talents and he played a leading role in Borussia Dortmund's successful championship run in Germany last season.
His efforts have earned him a regular place in Germany's national team setup at the age of 19, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich both credited with an interest in his services.
The Gunners went as far as to make an attempt to sign Gotze on the last day of the transfer window, but their effort was immediately knocked back by the Bundesliga winners.
