Al Nasr have confirmed the signing of Lazio midfielder Mark Bresciano, for a fee believed to be 3.9 million.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract, worth 2 million a year, with his new employers and will be unveiled by his new coach Walter Zenga in front of local media.

"Australian player Mark Bresciano arrived late at night in Dubai to join Al Nasr FC for the new season [2011-12]," read a statement on the club's website.

A deal to take the former Australia international to UAE has been in the pipeline since last week, but now the transfer has been rubber-stamped and he is free to make his debut for Al Nasr.

Bresciano's departure from Lazio marks the conclusion of a 12-year attachment to Italian football, after spells at Empoli, Parma, Palermo and Lazio.
