Walter Zenga Claims Not Receiving Payments From Al-Nassr For Six Months

Former Al-Nassr coach Walter Zenga has revealed he has sent official letters to the Saudi Federation, the club and FIFA in regards to wages not being paid over the past six months.

The 50-year-old was sacked last week by the club, and was strongly linked with taking over from Rafael Benitez as Inter coach, before Leonardo was awarded the position.

"I have sent a letter to the Saudi Arabian Federation, to the club and to FIFA to ask on behalf of myself and my assistants that we have not received any payments prior to Christmas," Zenga told Goal.com Italy.

"No one has communicated to me via fax or any other method, but I am here awaiting a response. I have not received any form of payment over the past six months," he concluded.
