European football fans in the United States will be able to see some of the continent's best teams as Chelsea, Milan and Inter have entered the World Football Challenge 2009 tournament along with Mexican entrants Club America.
The tournament will be in a round robin format and take place in six cities across the United States including Pasadena, Atlanta and Baltimore.
"We are very proud to take part in an important event like this," said Inter technical director Marco Branca to the club's official website, inter.it.
"The international spirit is the historic core of our club. The fixtures in the United States are going to be important steps for the preparation of the following season and will give us the possibility to meet our fans in America."
The pre-season matches in North America will take place between July 19 and July 26, as the European sides begin training for the long season ahead.
