Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has declared that "if Barcelona reach the Champions League final, we will do everything possible so that they feel as if they are at home", according to AS.
Despite the fact that Los Blancos will not be playing in Europe's big final, Perez assured the press that he was very satified with having the Bernabeu serve as the site for the final. "It is an honour for us to celebrate a final here."
In statements released by Barca president Joan Laporta and honorary president Johan Cruyff, they expressed their gratitude to Perez. "We want to thank the marvellous city of Madrid and Real Madrid for the elegance and 'fair play' with which they conduct themselves."
