The Clasico in a cartoon - How Barcelona's Pep Guardiola burst the bubble of Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho

Los Blancos have been forced to rethink their strategy after Saturday's Clasico defeat saw them lose their place at the Primera Division summit
Real Madrid's title hopes in La Liga suffered a blow on Saturday after their 3-1 loss to Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spanish capital club got off to a perfect start as a close-range effort from Karim Benzema in the opening minute gave them the lead, but an own-goal from Marcelo either side of strikes from Alexis Sanchez and Cesc Fabregas allowed Barca to turn the score around.

The victory allowed Barca to climb back to the top of the Liga standings, although they are level on points with Madrid, who have one game in hand.

Jose Mourinho's side have the chance to regain top spot on Saturday, when they visit Sevilla, but the defeat against Pep Guardiola's men put an end to Madrid's impressive record of 15 straight wins in all competitions.
