Roma striker Bojan Krkic claims he did not get a fair shot at Barcelona prior to his summer transfer to the Serie A club.
The 21-year-old failed to hold a regular starting slot at Camp Nou last season and was sold for an initial €12 million fee in July.
Krkic believes he deserved more of a chance to shine at the Spanish giants, but he is not critical of coach Pep Guardiola.
"It was extraordinary playing for Barcelona, but during the final months there I did not get much of a chance to play, and for a player this is very important," he told Sport.es.
"I have nothing against Guardiola as he is the greatest coach, but it's clear I was not happy last season because I did not get the chance I deserved."
Krkic scored his first goal for Roma in their 3-1 win over Atalanta last week.
