Valencia have completed the transfer of Antoni Barragan from Real Valladolid for an undisclosed fee. The full-back has signed a contract until the summer of 2015 with the Champions League hopefuls.
The Primera Division side were eager to add some more depth to their back-line before the summer transfer window slam shut and head coach Unai Emery saw the 24-year-old Barragan as a useful addition.
Barragan is a product of the Sevilla youth academy and was also under contract with Liverpool and Deportivo La Coruna before joining Valladolid in the summer of 2009.
The right-back has represented Spain at Under-21 level, but has yet to break into La Roja's senior squad.
Valencia have also added Victor Ruiz, Pablo Piatti, Sergio Canales, Adil Rami and Dani Parejo to their squad this summer.
