Ibrahim Afellay is happy at Barcelona - Agent

The midfielder's representative has responded to the rumours linking his client with a move to Serie A by saying that he's keen to stay put
Karel Jansen, the agent of Barcelona's Ibrahim Afellay, has commented that the Netherlands international is content with life at Barcelona and has no intention of leaving Camp Nou.

A report on Tuesday suggested that Lazio are interested in signing the former PSV star, but Afellay's representative rebuked speculation of a summer move to Italy.

"I don't understand where this kind of news is coming from. I honestly don't know anything about it," Janssen was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.

"He doesn't have any reasons to move on. Ibrahim is doing very well at his current club. I can only repeat that both club and player are very happy with each other."

Afellay joined Barcelona from PSV in January 2011 for a fee of €3 million and has a contract until the summer of 2014 with the Champions League holders.
