Jeffren Suarez continues to be linked with a move out of Barcelona this summer, as fellow La Liga outfit Sevilla are the latest side to have shown an interest in signing the attacker, Sport reports.
The winger appears to be surplus to requirements at the Spanish champions and is widely expected to leave the club before the start of the 2011-12 campaign. He has previously been linked with Valencia and Atletico Madrid, but Sevilla now appear most keen to capture the player.
The Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan side are looking to add some more depth to their attack and new head coach Marcelino Garcia Toral sees the Spain under-21 starlet as a valuable addition to his squad.
Efren Suarez, the player's father and agent, has hinted that the Andalucian outfit have already approached Barcelona to discuss a possible summer move, although he refused to confirm any contact.
"It's possible that an important club like Sevilla are interested and there is a possibility that they've already been in touch with Barcelona to ask about his availability," Efren was quoted as saying.
It was initially thought that Barcelona would include the 23-year-old in the proposed deal that could see Alexis Sanchez leave Udinese for Camp Nou, but Jeffren has made it clear that he has no intention of joining the Serie A side.
Barca and Udinese remain locked in talks over the transfer of Sanchez and Gino Pozzo, son of the Italian club's owner, Giampaolo, stated last week that a number of meetings between both sides are scheduled for this week.
