Hercules youngster Kiko Femenia is on the verge of joining Barcelona, as the young winger will undergo a medical at the Spanish champions on Friday, El Mundo Deportivo reports.
Both clubs have been in talks about the 20-year-old's transfer to Catalunya for some time, and they have now reportedly reached an agreement over a fee believed to be in the region of €4 million, with Femenia is expected to sign a three-year deal upon completion of his medical.
The right-winger revealed recently that his move to Barcelona was "almost complete" and added that joining the Catalan giants is a dream come true for him.
Femenia is a product of the Hercules youth academy and has made over 70 appearances for the Alicante side in the past three seasons. He featured in La Liga in 2010-11 but couldn't prevent his club from being relegated back to the Segunda.
The promising wide player is expected to be included in the Spain under-20 squad for the upcoming World Cup in Colombia, from July 29 until August 20.
