Real Madrid eye move for Twente's Roberto Rosales - report

Real Madrid are reportedly keeping tabs on Twente defender Roberto Rosales, as los Blancos look to add strength in depth in defence
Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Twente right-back Roberto Rosales as cover for Sergio Ramos, according to reports.

The Madrid brain trust believe the squad are thin on the ground at right-back, and feel they need additional cover.

With the Merengues circling it has been reported in Nuevo Futbol that Twente may ask for up to €10 million for the right-back, who has the honour of being the first Venezuelan player to score in the Champions League.

Rosales joined the current Eredivisie league leaders from AA Gent for a fee of around €3 million back in 2010, and has made the right-back berth at De Grolsch Veste his own.

The 22-year-old is a versatile player and can also play on the right side of midfield.
