Barcelona attacker Pedro believes that the Bluagrana should not take Hercules lightly when the two sides confront each other this weekend.
Hercules beat the Spanish champions 2-0 at the Camp Nou earlier in the season and Pedro believes that they are a side who shouldn't be considered pushovers.
"They are after all the only team who’ve beaten us this season," Pedro is quoted as saying by Barca's official website.
The Spanish forward went on to speak about his own performances on the pitch.
"I’ve gained in confidence and I’m adapting well to the team. I think we are improving our level and that’s why I feel more comfortable on the pitch.
“It’s all down to the work of the team as a whole.
Pedro concluded by reflecting on the Blaugrana's 5-0 victory over Almeria in the first-leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final.
"We know we got a good result, but there’s still the return game to play and we can’t be over confident.
"What happened at Betis is still fresh in our minds and we mustn’t get carried away."
