Jose Mourinho Admits Real Madrid Were Second Best Against Barcelona

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says it will be easy to come to terms with the 5-0 loss suffered at the hands of Barcelona in el Clasico because the Blancos were not simply good enough at Camp Nou.

Barca jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half and never looked back en route to an emphatic win to send them top of the Liga standings.

"One team played very good, one team very bad," Mourinho commented in a post-match press conference. "One deserved to win and one deserved to lose.

"Last week, we had a point lead, and now we have two points less. I've always said that the club [Barcelona] is a finished product and Madrid are a long way.

"I came here last year with Inter and we had a loss, and then we ended up making the final of the Champions League.

"Humiliated? No. It's easy to deal with this loss, we just weren't good enough."

Barcelona now have a two-point lead over the Blancos in the Liga standings.
