Experienced midfielder Guti could be on his way out of Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid as Russian outfit Zenit St. Petersburg have shown an interest in signing the midfielder, if a report in AS is to be believed.
The 33-year-old midfielder has lost his spot in the starting XI at Real Madrid in recent years and is supposedly eager to leave the Blancos this summer in order to get regular first team action elsewhere.
The report suggests that several foreign clubs are interested in signing the former Spanish international. Zenit coach Luciano Spalletti has even made Guti one of his primary targets on the transfer market. The Russian giants have yet to make an official offer for the playmaker though.
It remains to be seen whether Guti is interested in a move to Russia. The highly rated midfielder has apparently set his sights on a move to the Premier League and Blackburn Rovers are closely monitoring the situation of the Spaniard.
