According to a number of reports from Morocco, Wydad Athletic Club Casablanca are eager to appoint former Real Madrid coach Juande Ramos as the club's new general director.
The club's official spokesman, Driss Esslaoui, revealed that Ramos will travel to Morocco later this month to discuss a deal.
"We will have a meeting with Juande Ramos on June 14 to negotiate a deal and we're hopeful that he will sign a contract with WAC Casablanca shortly after," Esslaoui was quoted as saying.
"We have already planned a meeting with the president to talk about the technical staff we want to form. It's not necessary for Juande to live in Casablanca, he could do his job from Spain and travel to Casablanca every now and then."
Ramos has been out of work ever since he left CSKA Moscow in October 2009. The Spanish gaffer has also worked at clubs such as Sevilla, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid.
