According to a report on Voetbal International, Primera Division outfit Getafe are considering making a move for highly rated Feyenoord midfielder Jonathan de Guzman this summer.
Getafe finished sixth in La Liga last term, thus qualifying for Europa League football. They are eager to add to their ranks in the summer transfer window in order to be competitive in Europe next term and head coach Michel sees De Guzman as the perfect addition to his squad.
De Guzman is a product of the Feyenoord youth academy and has made well over 100 Eredivisie appearances for the Rotterdam side so far. The former Holland under-21 star has an expiring contract at Feyenoord and will be a free agent this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder has attracted the interest of several sides, but has reportedly set his sights on a move to Spain. Aside from Getafe, Espanyol and PSV are also believed to be keeping tabs on De Guzman.
