AC Milan have identified Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves as one of the their transfer targets, according to sportmediaset.it.
The Rossoneri have had a relatively disappointing season after spending very little money last summer and are unlikely to attain any trophies in the 2009-10 campaign
However, Kaka's sale to Real Madrid means the Rossoneri's books look much more balanced and the club look set to approve an allocation of €20 million to transfers in the summer.
A portion of the transfer kitty looks to be geared towards Diego Alves as the Brazilian 'keeper is seen as the ideal addition between the posts after the inconsistencies of both Dida and Christian Abbiati.
The 23-year-old has started 33 matches in La Liga this season, keeping nine clean sheets in the process.
