Mohammed Tchite: I Want To Leave Racing Santander

Racing striker Momo Tchite has expressed his desire not only to leave his current club but to leave La Liga all together.

The Burundi born Belgian citizen joined Racing from Anderlecht in 2007 and has revealed he has had enough of La Liga and hopes to leave the club this summer.

"I have a contract until 2012 but this summer I want to leave," the striker is quoted as saying at Goalcity.com.

The 26-year-old Burundi U-20 international famously who had his appeal to play for Belgium rejected by FIFA went on to say that he is ready for a fresh challenge.

"I do not think it is better at Anderlecht than Racing,” he continued. “I need to breathe a different air and I want to play another type of football."

The former Standard Liege striker had previously been linked with a move to England with Everton and Blackburn said to have shown a serious interest.
