Ibrahimovic Is An Exceptional Player - Johan Cruyff

If Barcelona do land the Swedish forward then he will be a good addition to the squad...
Johan Cruyff believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be a success at Barcelona if the club can sign him from Inter, but is confident that Barca will not spend the same as Real Madrid.

The outspoken Dutchman still believes that the Swedish international striker is on the Blaugrana's agenda and thinks that he would be a great addition to the squad.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho stated on Wednesday that Ibrahimovic would only leave for a major club where his level could be improved, and Cruyff thinks that can be at Camp Nou.

"He is an exceptional player, he would be very good for the team, although it obvious that Barca are not going to pay as much for a transfer as Real Madrid have done," Sport quote him as saying.

"The deal will depend upon what they are asking for and what Barca are willing to pay, and on Eto'o, because they are both great players."

Barcelona have been linked with Ibrahimovic for some time, but it is believed that his price tag and desire to stay in Italy means that the Catalan outfit are looking elsewhere.

No deal can be completed if Samuel Eto'o decides to stay, and club president Joan Laporta is believed still to have mixed feelings about letting the club's top scorer in the league last season go.
