La Sexta & TV3 To Carry Real Valladolid-Barcelona Game
The broadcasting issue has been resolved and the clash at the Jose Zorrilla will be available on two different networks.
There were threats that Barcelona’s Saturday encounter at Real Valladolid would be blacked out on television due to contractual broadcasting issues.
But late on Friday evening, it was officially confirmed that La Sexta and Catalan-based TV3 have both picked up the rights to transmit the game live from the Estadio Jose Zorrilla.
It would appear that Valladolid, under the advise of LFP vice-president Javier Tebas, broke their contract with Audiovisual Sport (AVS) who had threatened not to allow any TV cameras into the stadium due to their ongoing wrangle with Mediapro.
As such both La Sexta and TV3 have swooped in to secure the right for the match, which will kick-off at CET.
