Panathinaikos Striker Djibril Cisse Honoured By Greek Super League Colleagues

Panathinaikos striker Djibril Cisse has picked up two awards at the annual Professional Football Players (PSAP) awards.
Panathinaikos attacker Djibril Cisse has been named the best foreign player in the Greek Super League during the Professional Football Players (PSAP) awards for the 2009-10 campaign.The French striker also picked up the topscorer award after scoring 23 goals.

The 29-year-old Cisse joined Panathinaikos from Olympique de Marseille in the summer of 2009 and has since developed into a key player at the Athens side.

Pana currently sit second in the league table, trailing table toppers Olympiacos by five points.

"Our goal is still to win the league title in the new season. We can win it and we will do everything to achieve it," Cisse was quoted as saying by reporters.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos star Vassilis Torosidis was voted the best Greek player in the top flight, while Panathinaikos midfielder Sotiris Ninis scooped up the talent of the year award. Aris Thessaloniki shot stopper Michalis Sifakis took the prize for the best goalkeeper.
