Aris Thessaloniki FC have completed the loan signing of Benfica winger Freddy Adu, the Greek club confirmed on their website.
The United States international had joined Belenenses on loan during the summer, but the arrival of a new coach at the club saw the 20-year-old being sent back to Benfica.
Adu yesterday claimed he was considering offers from Hull City and Aris FC, and he has now confirmed he has decided for the latter, who are currently fourth in Greek Super League.
The former Monaco loanee has signed an 18-month contract with Aris, which will keep him at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium until the summer of 2011, with the Greek club securing an option to buy at the end of this period.
This is the third loan spell for Adu since joining Benfica from the MLS in 2007 for a fee in the region of €1.5 million, and he will now hope to finally make his mark in European football.
