Chelsea's Marin close to Olympiakos move

The Germany international has been sent to four different clubs on loan since joining the Blues in 2012 and is in advanced talks with the Superleague champions

Chelsea winger Marko Marin is in advanced talks with Olympiakos and is expected to complete a move in the coming days, Goal understands.

The Germany international has failed to break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge since joining in 2012 from Werder Bremen, where he impressed during a three year spell.

Marin, 27, has made just 16 appearances for the Blues, and has been sent out on loan to Sevilla, Fiorentina, Anderlecht and Trabzonspor.

And a source has told Goal that the Bosnia-Herzegovina-born player is expected to complete a move to the Greek champions early next week.

It is not yet known whether the transfer will be a permanent one or a fifth loan move for Marin.
