Henry stunned by Vardy's hesitance over Arsenal move

Thierry Henry admits he is struggling to understand why Jamie Vardy has not already agreed a move to Arsenal.

Goal can confirm the Gunners have activated the 29-year-old’s £20 million release clause but the striker has remained silent over his future ahead of England’s Euro 2016 campaign.

And Henry, who remains Arsenal’s all-time leading goalscorer, insists the Leicester City forward should have jumped at the chance to join Arsene Wenger’s side.

"He's 29, right? You have Arsenal coming for you, and you're telling them you're going to think about it?" Henry told BBC 5 Live.

"Listen. All I can say is if I was playing for Leicester and I had Arsenal coming, I would have gone."
