Pennant training with Thai club

The former Arsenal and Liverpool winger is on the look out for a new team after failing to secure a contract at Charlton
Jermaine Pennant has continued his search for a new club by going on trial with Thai side Muang Thong United.

The former Arsenal and Liverpool winger recently failed to win a contract at Charlton after training with the Championship outfit.

Pennant joined Wigan on a short-term contract in February last season and played 13 games for the Latics but could not stop them from being relegated to League One.

This is the third time the 31-year-old has trained with Muangthong, and the club announced the news by posting a video of him going through his paces on their official Facebook page.
