Juventus loanee Berardi expects to stay at Sassuolo

Juventus loanee Domenico Berardi expects to remain at Sassuolo for another season following his hat-trick against Milan on Sunday.

Juventus loanee Domenico Berardi believes that he will still be at Sassuolo next season.

The 20-year-old striker came through the Reggio Emilia club's youth team ranks but the Bianconeri signed him - initially on a co-ownership deal - in the summer of 2013.

Berardi has spent the past two seasons on loan to Sassuolo, establishing himself as one of Italy's most exciting young forwards during that time.

Indeed, he underlined his potential with a hat-trick in Sunday's 3-2 win over AC Milan, after which he discussed the prospect of him returning to Juve this summer.

"For me, this has been an important season," the Azzurri under-21 international told Sky Sport Italia. "I have worked hard to improve myself.

"We'll see what to do in June. We'll decide whether to go or stay, but I believe that I will remain [on loan] at Sassuolo.

"At the end of the season, I will evaluate everything with my agents."

Berardi's treble came just over 16 months after he hit four goals against AC Milan and the attacker admitted that he loves facing the Rossoneri.

"Playing against Milan brings me good luck," he added. "I always score. It would be great to play against them all the time!"

Beraradi has now netted 14 goals in 30 Serie A appearances so far this season.
