Besiktas make Ronaldinho move

The Turkish giants are keen to bring in the former Barcelona star ahead of the 2013-14 campaign, while they have lined up a number of coaches
Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi has revealed that the Turkish giants are keen to sign Atletico Mineiro star Ronaldinho this summer.

The Istanbul giants are keen to add some more creativity to their squad ahead of the 2013-14 campaign and they see the former Barcelona star as an ideal addition to their roster.

"We have made an offer for Ronaldinho. We are now awaiting his answer," Cebi told reporters.

The 33-year-old attacker left Europe for Flamengo in January 2011 and moved on to Atletico Mineiro in the summer of 2012 after a payment dispute. Ronaldinho has a contract with his current club until December 2013.

Cebi then went on to discuss the candidates for the position of head coach at Besiktas as they are looking for a replacement for Samet Aybaba.

"We are awaiting sporting director Onder Ozen's decision. Robert Prosinecki, Marcelo Bielsa and Rudi Garcia are the names on our list. We will pick the best option from these three."

Besiktas ended the 2012-13 campaign in third position.
