Napoli are pondering a summer switch for Porto defender Rolando, according to reports emanating from Italy.
Mediaset claims that the Serie A side are already planning for next season, with the acquisition of a new centre-back understood to be high on the wishlist of coach Walter Mazzarri.
Rolando was strongly linked with a move to Juventus last summer, but a move failed to materialise as Porto held firm over their €30 million valuation of the defender.
However, the Portugal international has struggled at times in 2011-12, which could open the door to an exit at the end of the season for a figure in the region of €9m.
Davide Astori is also understood on Napoli's radar, but the 25-year-old is valued at €15m by Cagliari.
