Bayern Munich would be the best club for Basel starlet Xherdan Shaqiri, according to the player's agent.
The 20-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray in January, but the transfer broke down with the Turkish side unwilling to meet Basel's asking price.
However, the player's representative says that the Allianz Arena would be the best place for his brother to move to, but conceded that there has been no contact with the Bavarian club.
"Right now, Bayern is the best club for Xherdan, but it is clear that he can only develop further abroad," agent Erdin Shaqiri told Basler Zeitung.
"He must take the step this summer, because to play four times in the Swiss league against the same teams isn't enough."
"There have been some requests that weren't serious. Munich have contacted neither myself nor Xherdan."
In the course of his club's transfer negotiations with Shaqiri, Galatasaray president Unal Aysal confirmed that other teams had made offers for the 20-year-old.
