Wolfsburg announced on their official website that they completed the transfers of Ibrahim Sissoko and Felipe Lopes, with both players penning contracts until 2015.
Lopes, a 24-year-old Brazil native, leaves Portuguese outfit Nacional for an undisclosed fee and Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath hailed the centre-back's signing.
"Felipe is big, a strong header of the ball and a consistent defensive player," the trainer said.
Magath also was pleased to add the 20-year-old Sissoko, who left Academica de Coimbra for Lower Saxony. The versatile attacker can play both as a centre forward and as a right-winger and is considered a top prospect at Wolfsburg.
"This is a young man for the future," Magath said, characterising Sissoko as a "technically good, enthusiastic running player."
The duo become the latest in a growing number of transfers to Wolfsburg during the current transfer window, following Petr Jiracek, Slobodan Medojevic, Vieirinha, and Giovanni Sio.
