Olympique de Marseille ponder move for Inter's Diego Milito - report

Olympique de Marseille are considering making a move for veteran Inter striker Diego Milito in January, according to Le Parisen.

The Argentina international is no longer guaranteed a spot in the Nerazzurri's starting XI and recently dropped a hint that he may leave the Serie A outfit when the transfer window reopens.

Didier Deschamps' men have only won four Ligue 1 games in the 2011-12 campaign and are expected to bolster their squad in the winter transfer window.

With Jordan and Andre Ayew expected to be selected for Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations squad, the Stade Velodrome side may be left light in attack, with Loic Remy and Andre-Pierre Gignac the only remaining recognised strikers.

The French newspaper indicates that Milito's wages would be the only stumbling block as the forward currently earns €4.5 million per year and a loan deal with potential sharing of player payment may be the preferred option for Marseille.
