Chelsea make €34m move for Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery due to Tottenham's stance on Luka Modric - report

Blues have reportedly turned their interest towards the Frenchman and it is thought that the Bayern man could get a deal worth €11.3m-a-year if he moves to Stamford Bridge
Chelsea have made a €34 million move to sign Franck Ribery from Bayern Munich, after growing tired of Tottenham's stance on Luka Modric, according to The Sun.

The Blues were constantly linked with the Croatian midfielder throughout the summer, but Spurs were resolute in their stance that their asset was not for sale.

Goal.com exclusively revealed that the north London outfit would reject a £40m bid that was being considered by Chelsea, after having already turned down offers worth £22m, £27m and £30m.

Now Bayern Munich are believed to want €40.6m for the potential sale of Ribery, with the Blues thought to be willing to offer the Frenchman €11.3m-a-year to move to Stamford Bridge.

Ribery currently has four years left on his contract with Bayern Munich.
