Paris Saint-Germain ponder move for Real Madrid's Kaka - report

A report claims Leonardo wants the former Milan favourite with him at the Parc des Princes as they try to squeeze in one last move before the transfer window closes
French club Paris Saint-Germain are showing no signs of stopping their summer spending spree as they pursue Real Madrid ace Kaka.

Sky Sport Italia reports the French club are looking to lure the 29-year-old away from the Bernabeu.

The former AC Milan man has said he wants to remain with his current club after speaking to coach Jose Mourinho.

However, Kaka was linked with a move back to San Siro, but CEO Adriano Galliani said that was impossible, despite Gennaro Gattuso and Filippo Inzaghi both urging the club to sign him.

PSG director Leonardo, who worked with Kaka at Milan, is now keen to land the Brazilian after the Serie A champions have appeared to pull out of the race.

Leonardo is a keen admirer of Kaka and after signing Javier Pastore from Palermo in a €43 million deal this summer, the director is still intent on swooping for more talent.

Leonardo recently said business was closed for PSG in terms of new players but added good opportunities would be considered.
